Have you heard of IAMWARFACE, an Electro Rock Band out of London?
They came up my Facebook feed today and something nagged at me to go check them out.
I headed over to YouTube and found their video for You Don’t Love Me Anymore. I was immediately hooked by the energy of the driving drums, and the bright glow of neon paint … and that bassline! At the same time, Matt Warneford’s intense and piercing gaze from behind a glowing hand-print created a slightly unsettled feel to the video.
I found them to be reminiscent of Depeche Mode with a dash of The Cure and a pinch of Nine Inch Nails for flavor…
I had the privilege of hearing the new single due out soon, Closer, and previewing its video.
